Although there are many unpleasant things, my work is going well, and I have no complaints about my current life. Still, there are days when I feel tired and want to vent my frustrations. The title work, "ガラスの靴を脱ぎ捨てて" (Take Off the Glass Slippers), depicts the gatherings of office ladies, along with other short stories including "しあわせを分けなさい" (Share the Happiness), which portrays a couple who, despite their complicated feelings on the way back from a friend's wedding, still wish to be happy together. This collection includes five short stories in total. These women are somewhat clumsy and unable to be straightforward easily; they can't fully become adults, yet they can't remain dreamlike girls forever. This is a short story collection that beautifully captures the romantic lives of these sparkling and wavering women, all of whom are working adults in a yuri setting!
