In the winter of her third year of high school, as graduation approaches, Oguma finds herself alone, preparing for the winter break while the world around her is buzzing with year-end festivities. "Maybe all I have is my Cub," she thinks. Just then, the president of a motorcycle delivery company, Ukitani, appears, wanting to headhunt her, leading her to start a new part-time job. Ukitani, who seems like a capable businessman, has a somewhat childish side. She meets her uniquely individual fellow riders, and on New Year's Eve, she encounters a ghostly girl named Fumi. An unexpected melodrama unfolds at her familiar motorcycle dismantling shop. With no parents, no friends, and no hobbies, Oguma finds that her Cub brings her connections with others.
