Tsukishima, Chuo City, Tokyo. The 'Takamimi Shrine' has a history spanning over 400 years since the Edo period. The deity enshrined there is Eldar, an elf who was summoned by Tokugawa Ieyasu from another world and has completely withdrawn from society. The shrine maiden serving him is Koganei Koito, a high school girl who tends to stretch herself. She struggles with babysitting, searches for error coins, inadvertently involves the parishioners in strange movements due to a little lie, gets her hair cut by a cute hairstylist, discusses the difference between chic and tacky, and is thoroughly enjoying a life of self-indulgence.
