Tsukishima, Chuo City, Tokyo. The 'Takamimi Shrine' has a history of over 400 years dating back to the Edo period. The deity enshrined there is Eldar, an elf who was summoned by Tokugawa Ieyasu from another world and has become a complete recluse. The shrine's priestess is Koganei Koito, a high school girl who tends to stretch her height. She becomes friends with Haira from Reimi Shrine and her priestess Isuzu, sometimes helps or hinders Koito's studies, gets flustered by leaks in the main shrine, and is emotionally stirred by old footage from a video tape, leading to an ordinary yet eventful daily life.
