Kanon uses lip-reading skills to communicate with those around her, but after starting to interact with Saki, who sits next to her, she gradually begins to find her place in high school. On the other hand, Saki becomes acquainted with Kanon's younger sister, Rinon, and learns that she is skilled at reading expressions due to her own ability to lip-read.
