Mayumi, who had her fiancé taken away by her only best friend, decided to throw everything away and escape from it all. She ended up in a rural area where she had no acquaintances, starting a fresh life as a middle school teacher! However, she soon found herself entangled with a blonde yankee, her biggest nemesis, and ended up falling into the sea together. The instigator, the yankee girl Rin, introduces herself as the manager of Mayumi's boarding house, "Umineko-so". Thus begins the story of the days and people in a seaside town surrounding a wounded adult woman.
