Centuries ago, after the massacre of mermaids committed by humans, the mermaids hid in the deep sea. Suddenly, a plague struck the peaceful mermaid village that had lived without interaction with humans, plunging mermaid society into chaos. This is the story of Ire (the mermaid) who embarks on a tumultuous study abroad journey to improve water quality and resolve the crisis.
