A "runaway girl" who was found collapsed and a woman known as a "hermit" meet each other. The two start to act together by chance, wandering through various places while exploring the "dead scenery" of ruins. The "hermit" introduces herself as Azami, while the "runaway girl" names herself Mizuki. This is a story about those two escaping from something.
