Tsukishima, Chuo City, Tokyo. The 'Takamimi Shrine', which has a history of over 400 years dating back to the Edo period. The deity enshrined there is Eldar, an elf who was summoned by Tokugawa Ieyasu from another world and has completely become a recluse. The shrine maiden serving him is Koganei Koito, a high school girl who tends to stretch herself. She challenges herself with a secret box of marquetry, tries to take the elf on camping trips or journeys, practices at a magic café, draws portraits of her family, secretly shops online, and lends and borrows with other elves, maintaining a laid-back lifestyle.
