The invisible things and irreplaceable moments shared by two girls. Kaneda Saki, just before entering high school, has an encounter one day on her way to piano lessons. She accidentally bumps into an unfamiliar girl of the same age and scrapes her hand. After being silently stared at by the girl, she carefully picks up the dropped sheet music and offers Saki a band-aid. Saki later reunites with this memorable girl as her classmate and learns her name is Oikawa Kanon, and that she is hearing impaired. At school, Kanon keeps her distance from others due to her disability, which makes Saki feel lonely. Determined to connect with her, Saki tries to understand Kanon, and gradually, Kanon's attitude begins to change as well.
