This is a story set in a distant land where people with animal ears live. In this country, same-sex marriage is possible. For Haru, who has missed the chance to marry, a marriage proposal comes in from an older woman who has no education, no wealth, and an unstable income—someone with absolutely no good points. However, Haru is drawn to the lonely look in the woman's photo and decides to accept the proposal. Though Haru has yet to experience first love, he finds himself flustered by the distance between him and his future spouse, 'Sensei.' But as they get married, he begins to understand love for the first time. Thus begins a love story that starts with a matchmaking meeting.
