This work, which reinterprets Shakespeare's original [Romeo and Juliet] as a love story between two women, 'Juliet Montague' and 'Juliet Capulet', in 16th century Verona, had its premiere in 2018 as part of the Classic Theater Project at the Sanwoolrim Small Theater. Thanks to the overwhelming success of sold-out performances, standing ovations, and audiences returning for multiple viewings, a total of four performances and online broadcasts were held until 2021, leading to encores. Director Lee Gipeum was nominated for the 'Young Theater Award' at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards for [Juliet and Juliet].
