The Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division 1, led by Inspector Akane Tsunemori. Inspector Yayoi Kunizuka and her boyfriend, analyst Shion Togane, are pursuing a mysterious group known as "Ark" that abducts underage pregnant women and brutally murders them after childbirth. However, Yayoi eventually reunites with an unexpected person. This is followed by "About a Girl," which depicts events after the first season of the TV anime, and "Separation," an original story where the young inspector Nobuchika Ginoza investigates an "animal reintroduction" case involving an animal therapist. This is the second volume of the "PSYCHO-PASS" spin-off novelization, containing two stories.
